Dr. Hill specializes in contact lens fittings. Spherical, toric/astigmatism, multifocal, and custom fitting exams are available. This exam is separate from the comprehensive exam and may require an additional fee. By law, contact lens evaluations and prescriptions must be updated every 12 months.
Our contact lens fitting fees vary depending on the type of service. Please alert our office staff to any specialty contact lens needs when making your appointment so we can leave time to properly address your needs.
Along with the services below, we also provide theatrical/Halloween contact lenses, prosthetic contact lenses, and cosmetic color contact lenses.

Soft Contact Lens Fittings
Dr. Hill is familiar with a wide variety of brands and replacement schedules. Our office receives the newest brands and technologies in soft lenses, often before they are released to the general public. We also carry specialty products like Bio-Sport contacts, theatrical/custom design contacts, and of course cosmetic colored contact lenses in daily disposable, 2-week, and 1-month replacement schedules.
Gas Permeable Lens Fittings
Dr. Hill is comfortable fitting gas permeable lenses of all types. Please notify our staff at the time of making your appointment so that we can anticipate your needs and ensure that we take the time needed to properly fit your gas permeable lenses.
Keratoconus Lens Fittings, Corneal Ectasia, Post-Surgical Lenses
Dr. Hill is residency trained in the fitting of medically necessary lenses for keratoconus and corneal disease. She is highly skilled in scleral lenses, hybrid designs, and traditional corneal lenses. Upon making your appointment, please alert the staff to your condition so that we can plan to spend additional time on your specialty fitting. If you have any records or special testing results from a previous provider please also bring those to your appointment.
Dr. Hill fits many patients before and after corneal collagen cross-linking treatment. Please alert our staff if you have received this procedure in the past or have interest in this treatment in the future. We are more than happy to coordinate your referral process.
Have you been told that your prescription is too high for contact lens wear? Many patients who are outside the parameters offered by commercially available contacts can qualify for custom designed soft lenses. This includes high astigmatism and multifocal contact lens options. Please let our staff know that you have a higher-than-average prescription when making your appointment.
Prosthetic Contact Lens Fittings
In cases of a disfigured or cosmetically asymmetrical eye, prosthetic lens options are available. These lenses are typically soft and can incorporate custom iris color, pupil opacities, and can be created in many unique diameters and curvatures. Please let our staff know about your prosthetic lens interest at the time of making your appointment.
